My Ohm journey

As most of you know I am a huge fan of Ohm beads. This love began some years ago. My first Ohm bead was Cute Ufo, as I am a huge SciFi fan.

Bought Year of the Ram because my husband is a Ram by regular starsign.

But my love for Ohm beads really took of the day I got Love Hurts!

I had my eye on Live Long and Prosper for some time and bought it the day Lenard Nemoy died.

And when Ohm introduced Bead of the Month it took off for me! Love limited edition beads!

It took me some months to fill my first Ohm bracelet. Found some retired and limited editions beads such as the Turkey Platters, chocolate bar and the windmill. I was inspired by amber colours for the glass beads.

I accompanied my husband on a business trip to Seattle, it was my second visit. The Ohm team learned of my trip and invited me to a lunch and an afternoon of sighseeing and hanging out.

Chihuly Gardens and Glass.

Meeting up with Mike and Jenny.

Great Lakes boutique launches Ohm My God.

At the end of the year Ohm beads launched the Going Dutch collection with the first bead Skûtsjesilen with a launchparty at jeweller Arie de Koning in Balk which I attended.

Not long after the second Going Dutch bead was released Ride Me.

Adding to my collection. And continued to purchase Bead of the Month. I only missed December Holey Ham, as a vegetarian I really could not buy that bead.

In the spring I got a very special guest! Traveling Ohmgnome!

He left Ohm beads HQ in Seattle to travel the world and he already went to Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Australia!

We had a lot of fun and went on a tour around the Netherlands and after a while he travelled on to London and now France!

More collecting next to Bead of the Month.

A next trip to Seattle took place, I met up with Kit and Jenny again. They showed me some of the new releases to come, so exciting! This was in November!

And I could add the Rocket to my Space bangle.

I visited the exhibition 50 years of Star Trek, here is my space stack and Live Long and Prosper with Mr. Spocks original uniform!

I hosted a day during Beadmas in December, a long day of connecting with Ohmies from around the world! Exhausting and so much fun!

In January Kit made a trip to the Netherlands and we had a Meet & Greet! I wrote about this event on my blog.

I now am so in love with the innovative, happy, different and fun designs Ohm beads make! I love how they make beads like the Wheelchair or Love Kills (the one I passed because skulls creep me out!).

I can’t wait to see what is coming next! Thank you so much for those fun years guys!
