First purchase was the caramel latte set!!! I just fell in the Ohm rabbithole after seeing the beads in person and realising how beautiful they are!! So, what’s a girl to do…. yup, buy buy buy!!!
After that set, trees, strawberry, rainbowed and green crack came! And lots more on the wishlist!!!

It meant a new beginning of a special brand for me.
With tulips I have a special bond because I come from the Netherland

My very first Ohm bead is the Ohm Mighty Bear. It is very much cherished because it reminds me of my husband, Aloysius – from his stockiness to his sometimes silly grin.
From there, my collection slowly grew, and there is no looking back now.
I really love how each and every piece, so carefully crafted and detailed.

My first OHM beads was the Tuk Tuk that I bought during my holidays in Thailand in their store in Bangkok. I love Thailand (my husband and me are travelling there for ages now and love the culture and the people, we met lots of new friends there) and so it has a special meaning for me and always reminds me to my holidays and that I’ll come back.

The first Ohm bead I ever bought was Trust/Love, and it was a set of two of them. One was given to my husband on our anniversary of a particulaly tough year for us, but was a reminder that we were each others rock. The beads were heavy and well made I remember, and from there I’ve bought some more beads and recieved more Ohm beads as gifts and their attention to detail is superb! I really love the diversity of Ohm.

I started buying beads in 2011. My daughter had introduced me to a different brand and I loved the whole bead concept. I was looking on the internet at different brands, looking at photos. I was so thrilled.. we don’t have ohm retailers in South Africa and receiving from across the seas was a wonderful exciting adventure of patience and constantly bugging my poor postal service office!! When he arrived he was even may detailed, bigger and more majestic than I imagined…so proud well made and full of confidence.. when I need I boost of courage I pair him with earth stones like onxy and amber and his cock sure way just makes my day!! My firts OHM Bead was Lady of Guadalupe. I was searching for this particular bead every where. I was sure that some brand have to have it. I bought it in Ebay, later I find it back on Amazon and bought it again as a Mothers Day gift to my cousin. In 5 years my collection has grown a lot. But my favorite is my first. Its with me all the time, remembers me my grandmothers love and all her prayers. I love OHM Beads its my favorite brand. Last year September, I accidentally jump into Ohm shop (never know about the brand before), I immediately fallen in love with the design and bought several beads that’s mostly complete my bracelet. They are Same same but different; same same but eaten; wishing well; camera; video camera and some stoppers and spacers. Till today all still with me and Ohm keeps me surprised every time they have something new. Just can’t resist.

My very first OHM bead was the Yorkshire Terrier dog. It is my most favorite dog breed. I have two very small females named Lucy and Winnie. But I bought the Bead in honor of my first Yorkie named Josh. He just passed away two weeks ago at the age of 14 1/2 years old. He was my shadow and I can hardly remember my life before he was in it. Now when I see my darling charm I think of him…and the tears start.

Hi! My first Ohm Bead was Feeling Knotty. I first saw it scrolling through the website after discovering @marthnickbeads and @jennyatohm on Instagram. And boy am I so pleased.
