And we have a winner! Bonnie May, congratulations!!
On the second day of Beadmas I have a nice chalange for you and I am giving away this gorgeous You Melt Me!
The price is send directly from Ohm beads HQ! The winner will be picked at random. You can comment below and the contest closes at Seattle midnight P.M.T. (09:00 hours C.E.T.). Have fun and good luck!
With Beadmas we are connecting with Ohmily from around the world, so I love to know a bit more about you! Your chalange today is to describe how the weather or climate is where you live and how does this affect your Christmas celebration. Are you barbecuing and surfing? Or go skiing and a bubble bath ? Or walk in the rain and snuggle up by the fire? Give us some idea where you live!
Here in the Netherlands we mostly have rain so we try to take a walk in the woods to work up an appetite and when we get back light a fire in our wood burning stove. Our pets love it too!

I live in the south east of the UK so it’s normally cold and damp. If we have any snow it’s not normally until the new year; last year we had some in March. I had a virus last year so spent the holidays on my own. This year my mum’s had a major operation so not sure what’s happening yet.

Good morning,
Wet. Christmas ist always wet.
In the town I life it is a running gag to say:”Sometimes everyone will get wet. The only difference is how”.
Caused by the european record to have several fleeds and more bridges than Venedig and Amsterdam together, and the “Elbe” surrounding us, rainy clouds are not able to disappear- they even get feeded.

I live in Florence, Italy. We’re having a mild Fall right now. It’s not very cold, temperatures are above the zero, and the sky is often blue.
Christmas is usually spent with family and friends; some families celebrate it on the night of the 24th, others on the 25th. That leads to many celebrations with a lot of food, wine, and long talks over the table. Also, we try to preserve the traditions of all of our families, because we’re from different parts of Italy, so we eat something from all the regions we are from.

I live in Russia. In our area most often frost and a lot of snow at Christmas. We are leaving for the Christmas holidays in the village to the parents. When the frost is small – we walk a lot, ride sledges and ice-boats from the hill. And when the frost is strong, we go outside just to make a barbecue))) We decorate the Christmas tree both inside the house and near the house. Mostly lights, so it was beautiful at night)

This summer I moved from the NE part of the US to the SE. This Christmas is going to be “warm” for me. Today is going to be 73 degrees and back home it will 52 which is actually warm for them this time of year. I personally love snow but heard they don’t get much here but we probably get some ice storms. Hate ice storms but love that it’s December and I’m not freezing.

I live directly next to Chicago, otherwise known as the windy city. Where anything can happen, typically winter here is frigidly cold, sometimes its snowy with an occasional milder day. The kids enjoy tromping through the snow, sledding & building snow forts & snow people. Then we like to thaw our hands & tummies with hot cocoa

We always hope for a White Christmas but we’ve had holidays where the kids can play kick the can in the neighborhood or make snow angels. Either way, we spend time with family and friends in a warm home with lots of food and Great Times!!!!
