I have always been drawn to the sea, unfortunately I don’t live near a beach. Our holiday destinations can be anywhere as long as it is near the sea.
Seaview in Vigsø, Denmark!
Our holiday last summer. OhmGnome enjoying the sunset at the beach in Petten, the Netherlands.
Argh loved the sea in Huisduinen, the Netherlands. This is how I have been wearing Ohm beads Argh, on a Pandora double leather. I bought his ocean friends especially for this bracelet. Trollbeads Happy fish, Ohm beads Striped Sailfish, Seastar and Alaskan Crab. The glass is Pandora. I wrote a blog post about Argh some time ago.
Baby Argh came to join the gang last autumn! There’s also a blog post about him!
Gorgeous Ohm beads Green Crack glass!
All together on the leather! Not enough to make a whole bracelet. But this spring I found the beads to make it happen. And it turned out there were suitable beads I had for years that I had not thought about!
A bead that I had for years is this cute Seal. I got it from a seal rescue centre in Pieterburen, the Netherlands in 2013!
Two other beads that I really love are the Pandora seaglass muranos. My husband brought back the green glass from Seattle in November 2013 and the blue one from Las Vegas in February 2014. The Sea glass muranos were an U.S.A. exclusive at first.
A bead I bought years ago is the Pandora lighthouse. We have a thing for lighthouses in our family. When our son was very little he saw a working lighthouse for the first time on the gorgeous Waddensea island of Schiermonnikoog. He looked at the light for some time and then stated it was broken! And we couldn’t convince him otherwise!
The three beads with stones are special too! First the Ohm beads Pacific Opal (left) was one of my first Ohm beads! The Pandora turquoise birthdaybloom (middle) is my son’s birthstone. And the bead on the right I got way back in 2012. I was desperate to have a limited edition Pandora Blue Primrose Path so I bought this one that looked like it. I now believe this bead is from the distant Ohm past.
A very beautiful and special glass bead is the green/blue Ohmnique! I traded it with a lovely lady in Vietnam! How awesome is that!
From our recent trip to Seattle came these gorgeous stones I bought at the Fremont Sunday Market!
I needed one more sea themed bead to finish the bracelet and looked at several obvious ones. But then I saw this little guy: Ohm beads Scuba and I was sold! I have been scuba diving and loved it, an amazing experience!
The completed Bracelet of the Sea! Happy summer vibes!
When doing the research for this blog post a lot of memories came flooding back! And the fun of having beads that came from different places like Las Vegas and Vietnam! That makes this bracelet even more awesome! With summer on the way I will be wearing this fun beauty every day! 😎
Swim free cute little Scuba!
